- Shri Hita Harivansh Mahaprabhu, Hit Chaurasi (45)
In the current verse, Shri Hita Harivansh Mahaprabhu describes the divine beauty of Shri Radha, as she approaches.
He says, look ‘sakhi' (dear friend), the veritable form of beauty herself, crest-jewel of the most adept, delicate in every limb is coming. [1]
Firstly she is anointed and bathed, her body adorned with a blue sari.
Her locks are braided, her tilak sweetly made, her hair-parting decorated with vermilion. [2]
Her dear-like eyes are full of nectar with a natural hue of collyrium, following a lovely line.
A jeweled splendid pearl on the tip of her lovely nose, the beauty of the red juice of betel leaves on the teeth appearing dark. [3]
The beauty of her graceful breasts is like the fruit of the wood apple's tree in the saffron bodice and on it a necklace of rare splendor.
Her waist is thin, her deep navel is a whirlpool of newer and newer nectar, and her thighs are firm. [4]
Shri Hita Harivansh Mahaprabhu says, “Shri Radha's lotus-stems are her ornamented arms, which are around Shri Shyam Sundar’s shoulders, the divine beauty of Shri Yugal Sarkar (Radha Krishn) on their extraordinary style of walking similar to that of an intoxicated elephant, is now manifested in the beautiful flowery groves of Vrindavan.” [5]
