(Kavitt)
Kaunkoonkh Keerati Kirti Prakaas Deto,
Kautukee Kanhaiya Kaaj Doolhi Kaahi Kahte. [1]
Daan Dadhi-ghaatin Mein Brindavan-baatin Mein,
Kaako Dadhi Loot Prem Chitt Chaah Chahte. [2]
Naagariya Jope Syama Swamini Saloni Binu,
Kaise Ghansyam Ras-raas Rang Lahte. [3]
Aadi Mein Na Hoti Yadi Radhe Ki Rakaar Jopai,
Topai Mere Jaan Radhe Bin Aadhe Krishn Rahte. [4]
- Shri Nagaridas Ji
Without Śrī Rādhā, how could Mother Kīrti’s womb have attained such glory, and who would have been called the eternal beloved bride of Śrī Krishna? [1]
In the narrow lanes of Śrī Vrindavan, whose yogurt would Śrī Krishna joyfully steal? [2]
Śrī Nāgarīdās says, “Without Śrī Shyāmā Jū, the beautiful Queen of Braj, how could Śrī Krishna, dark as a raincloud, taste the nectar of the great ocean of divine love?” [3]
If the first syllable ‘Rā’ of Śrī Rādhā’s name were not present in Your name, O Śrī Krishna, then You and even Your name would remain only half complete ('Ādhe' Kṛṣṇa instead of Rādhe Kṛṣṇa)! [4]
