(Raag Malhar)
Haun In Moran Ki Balihari.
Jinaki Subhaga Chandrika Mathe Dharata Govardhana Dhari. [1]
Balihari Ya Vanshkul Sajani Bannsi Si Sukumari,
Sundar Kara Sohe Mohan Ke Nekahu Hota Na Nyari. [2]
Balihari Gunja Ki Jata Para Mahabhagya Ki Sari,
Sadan Hriday Pain Shyam Ke Chinahu Tarata Na Tari. [3]
Balihari Braj Bhumi Manohar Kumjan Ki Anuhari,
Surdas Prabhu Nange Payan Anudina Gaiyya Chari. [4]
- Shri Surdas, Sur sagar
I sacrifice myself to these peacocks of Braj whose feathers Sri Krishna, Upholder of the Sri Giriraj Mountain, always keeps into his crown. [1]
I sacrifice myself over to this Bamboo family whose darling daughter has become the flute which Shri Krishn keeps inseparably in His beautiful hands. [2]
I sacrifice myself to the blessed fate of this creeping gunja plant to which are granted every type of good fortune for the dusky Lord wears its seed in a necklace, and always stays on his heart from which he is never ever separated. [3]
Shri Surdas says that I sacrifice myself over and over to this land of Braj and its forest bowers, dust etc in which Shri Krishn, my beloved Lord walks barefoot as he grazes the cows. [4]
