(Raag Sarang)
Priti Na Kahu Ki Kani Bicharai.
Marag Apamarag Vithakit Man Ko Anusarat Nivarai. [1]
Jyaun Sarita Sanvan Jal Umagat Sanamukh Sindhu Sidharai.
Jyaun Nadahi Man Diyen Kurangani Pragat Paradhi Marai. [2]
(Jai Shri) Hit Harivansh Hilag Sarang Jyaun Salabh Sarirahi Jarai.
Naik Nipun Naval Mohan Binu Kaun Apanapau Harai. [3]
- Shri Hita Harivansh Mahaprabhu, Shri Hit Chaurasi (42)
Love doesn’t observe any decorum. Who can prevent a mind filled with love from following its path, either good or bad? [1]
As if a stream overflowing with water in the month of monsoon runs towards the sea; or a doe runs towards the huntsman due to its love for the music. No one can stop them from flowing or dying. [2]
As if when a moth falls in love with the light of the flame, it ends its life while being burnt up (even that moth doesn’t accept any decorum). Shri Hita Harivansh says, “Who in the whole world is there anyone who can be like Sri Krishn, the ever-young all-skillful Lord, who sacrifices even His own self in the love of His beloved [Radha]”?
