One day, in the midst of Radha and Krishna's divine pastimes near the banks of Shri Vanshivat, Shri Radha Krishn sits beside Shri Yamuna. To shield themselves from an unexpected shower, they are embracing each other and sitting under a graceful canopy of black fabric. Gazing upon this wondrous scene, Shri Bhattji utters -
(Pada)
Near the banks of Vanshivat, amidst Yamuna’s shore, the divine couple, Shri Radha Krishn (swaying gently with the soft breezes) sits by the water. They find immense joy in gazing at their own playful reflections amidst the rippling waves. At that moment, tiny droplets of rain begin to fall. Upon seeing the rain, the maidens, quickly use a black soft silk cloth, crafting a single canopy to protect them from the rain. Within the black canopy, the youthful lovers, Shri Shyam and Shyama, (pretending to seek shelter) embrace each other lovingly. Standing inside the same canopy, Shri Priyapriyatam [Sri Radha Krishn] looks incredibly charming. Describing the beauty of that moment, Shri Bhattji says, Just as rain falls on a dark mountain, causing everything within it to gleam like gold, in the same way, during this rainfall, the golden form of Shri Radha shines within the black canopy.
