Chahe Keer Kokila Kapot Kar Saras Hu - Shri Lal Balbir, Braj Binod

(Kavitt)
Chahe Keer-Kokila Kapot Kar Saaras Hu,
Chahe Mukhchandra Ki Chakori Le Banaaiye. [1]
Chahe Kar-Lata-Drum, Phool-Phal-Pallav Te,
Madhukar Chahe Nek Daya Drishti Laaiye. [2]
Laalbalveer Daasi Deen Hai Daya Ki Raashi,
Keejiye Zaroor Yahaan Johi Man Bhaaiye. [3]
Par Jaise Bane Taise Karunaanidhaan Swaamini Ju,
Haaha He! Kishori Mohe Vrindavan Basaiye. [4]

- Shri Lal Balbir Ji, Braj Binod

Oh, Śrī Rādhe! If it pleases You, transform me into one among these: a parrot, a cuckoo, a pigeon, or a swan, or even the ‘cakorī’ (Greek partridge) that gazes ceaselessly upon Your radiant moon‑like face. [1]

Alternatively, make me a creeper, a tree, a flower, a fruit, a leaf, or any other form You desire. Or, if it so pleases You, make me a bumblebee and shower Your benevolent gaze upon me. [2]

Śrī Lāl Balbir Jī says, “I am Your humble maidservant, while You, dear Rādhe, are an infinite ocean of compassion. Thus, transform me into whatever embodiment You wish.” [3]

Irrespective of the form, My Svāminījū [Śrī Rādhā], the treasure house of mercy, grant me the privilege of seeking refuge at Your lotus feet, within the sacred realm of Your own Vṛndāvan Dhām. [4]
