(Kavitt)
Kirtan Ke Yuth Dekh Utthi Umang Ek,
Govardhan Ko Dekh Govardhan Dharaiya Ki. [1]
Bhul Jata Gyan Sabhi, Dekh “Gyan Gudri” Ko,
Chir Ghat Dekhkar, Chir Ke Churaiya Ki. [2]
Seva Kunj Dekh Sudh Hoti Shyamsundar Ki,
Vanshi Vat Dekh-Dekh, Vanshi Ke Bajaiya Ki. [3]
Yamuna Hiloren Dekh Hilta Hriday Hay,
Kalidah Dekh Yaad Aati Hai Kanhaiya Ki. [4]
- Dandi Swami Shri Hare Krishnanand Sarasvati ‘Hare Krishn’, Vrindavan Shatak (3)
In the sacred land of Śrī Vṛndāvan, the heart overflows with joy upon seeing groups of devotees singing in kīrtan-maṇḍalīs; a glance at Govardhan instantly evokes the memory of Lord Kṛṣṇa lifting this divine hill. [1]

Seeing ‘Jñāna Guḍaḍī’, all acquired knowledge seems insignificant; a glimpse of ‘Cīra Ghāṭa’ immediately brings to mind the playful Lord Kṛṣṇa who stole the Gopīs’ clothes. [2]
‘Sevā Kuñja’ awakens the divine remembrance of Śyāmasundar serving Śrī Rādhā; ‘Vāṁśīvaṭa’ enchants the mind with the sweet memory of the flute‑playing Kṛṣṇa. [3]
The rippling waters of the Yamunā stir the heart with waves of divine love; Kālīdaha reminds one vividly of Kānhā’s heroic subduing of the serpent Kāliya. [4]
