(Raag Khammayachi)
Kunjmahal Mein Aaj Rang Hori.
Phag Khel Mein Banavaniki, Hvai Rahi Pat Gathjori. [1]
Mudit Hvai Naari Gulaal Udaaven, Gaaven Gaari Duhun Ori.
‘Rasikvihari’ Sundar Dulah, Dulahani Naval Kishori. [2]
- Shri Bani Thani Ji
Today, in the bowers of the kuñja-mahal, a vibrant festival of Holī unfolds. Amidst the playful exchange of colors, a most beautiful union has arisen — the garments of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa are being lovingly tied together in a sacred knot of oneness. [1]
The sakhīs, overflowing with joy, scatter clouds of gulāl into the air and sing sweet, love-laden Holī songs from both sides. In this divine festivity, the charming Śrī Kṛṣṇa appears as the bridegroom, and Śrī Rādhā shines resplendent as the bride. [2]
