Even the combined practices of yoga, sacrifice, chanting, austerity, pilgrimage, vows, and charity cannot equal the greatness of serving the saints. [1]
If one abandons various forms of worship directed toward different deities and instead takes complete refuge in the saints, engaging oneself in their service, such a soul attains the state of supreme fearlessness. [2]
Śrī Sundara Dāsa Jī says that such a devotee places even liberation beneath his feet, regarding it as insignificant; freedom from the cycle of birth and death comes to him naturally. [3]
One who, with mind, speech, and action, serves the saints with complete sincerity — that person alone crosses over the ocean of worldly existence. [4]
