Mohin Manmohan Manbhay Re.
Kou Kar Jap Kou Tap Kou Vrat Kou, Vipin Samadhi Lagay Re. [1]
Kou Kar Tirath Chari Dham Kou, Marne Kashi Jay Re.
Kou Pat Gerua Kou Keshariya, Rang Anek Rangay Re. [2]
Kou Bindi, Kou Khada Tilak Kou, Bhasma Lalat Lagay Re.
Kam 'Kripalu' Tabai Banihun Jab, Hari Charanan Man Lay Re. [3]
- Jagadguru Shri Kripaluji Maharaj, Prem Ras Madira, Siddhant Madhuri (80)
My heart is captivated by the one and only Manmohana, Śrī Kṛṣṇa. Some engage in japa, others perform austerities, some observe vows, while others wander into forests to sit absorbed in samādhi. [1]
Some undertake pilgrimages to the four sacred dhāmas, while others journey to Kāśī seeking liberation through death. Some wear saffron garments, others wear ochre garments — thus, people dye their clothing in many outward colours. [2]
Some place a round tilaka upon the forehead, some wear an upright tilaka, while others smear sacred ash upon their forehead. Śrī Kripālu Jī says that the soul’s true welfare is accomplished only when, transcending these external displays, one fixes the mind completely upon the lotus feet of Śrī Hari. [3]
