Vande Shri Vrindavan Dham.
Brahmadik Durlabh Trin Tan Hun, Het Tucch Jiva Vishram. [1]
Uddhav Se Hari Pritam Chahati, Gulm Janam Lagyo Abhiram.
Vali Vali Janv Kripanidhi Mokon, Lad Ladavati Athon Jam. [2]
Yahai Riti Rani Shri Radha, Nahin Vicharati Rup Gun Nam.
Pain Lal Bhal Dai Bendi, Mo Ur Priya Lakhi Rijhati Shyam. [3]
- Shri Manohar Das, Rasik Jeevani (4)
I offer my repeated salutations unto the supremely sacred Śrī Vṛndāvana Dhāma, where attaining even the position of a tiny blade of grass is extremely rare for divine beings such as Lord Brahmā. Yet this divine abode is ever eager to grant supreme support and shelter to insignificant souls like ourselves. [1]
Even great souls such as Uddhava, the most beloved devotee of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, long to take birth here as a creeper or shrub, for this land is overflowing with divine bliss. Again and again, I offer myself unto this ocean of mercy, Śrī Vṛndāvana, which lovingly nourishes even a fallen soul like me at every moment of the day and night. [2]
Such is also the incomparable nature of the sovereign Queen of this abode, Śrī Rādhārāṇī. She never considers the external beauty, merits, status/lineage, or worthiness of one who seeks Her shelter. She, at whose lotus feet the beloved Lāla jī places His forehead, lovingly marks my brow with a sacred dot (beṃdī), and seeing such affection and love for Me in Her heart, Śyāmasundara becomes thoroughly pleased. [3]
