(Raag Vasant)
Naval Dou Aju Basant-Se Phule.
Gori Kisori Ke Ans Diye Bhuj, Syam Chhipe Bhuj Mule. [1]
Sahaj Singar Anang Ke Angani, Sohat Pit Dukule.
Rang Mein Rang Badhavati Ladili Lal Hindore-Se Jhule. [2]
Yah Sukh Nitya Dikhavat Nagari, Nahu Bhaye Anukule.
Bhagavat Rasika Bilokat Yah Chhabi, Nain Kurang Se Bhule. [3]
- Shri Bhagwat Rasik, Bhagwat Rasik Ki Vani, Ananyarasikabharan Granth (11.3)
Today, the eternal youthful Couple, Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa, are blossoming like the spring season itself. Fair-complexioned Kiśorī Jī has placed Her arm upon the shoulder of Śyāmasundara, and He appears beautifully sheltered within the embrace of Her arms. It seems as though a dark raincloud has become hidden beneath the radiance of spring-like golden beauty. [1]
Beholding their combined beauty, it appears as though Kāmadeva himself stands adorned with natural golden ornaments upon every limb and clothed in yellow garments. Here, the yellow garment represents Śrī Rādhā, who is wrapped around Śrī Kṛṣṇa as intimately as a garment clings to the body. When Priyā and Lāl begin to sway together like a swing, the beauty and joy of this springtime scene become even more delightful and enchanting. [2]
Śrī Bhagavatarasika Jī says that the eternal Couple, Śrī Śyāmā-Kuñjabihārī, are always gracious toward us and continually grant us the vision of these eternal plays of love, allowing us to relish their nectar. Beholding this nitya vihāra, our deer-like eyes remain forever captivated and enchanted by it. [3]
