The Vedas describe Him only by declaring, “Neti, neti—Ineffable,” while Lord Brahmā, the other celestial beings, and the great sages meditate upon Him constantly, day and night. [1]

Even the thousand-headed Śeṣanāga continually chants His holy names, yet is unable to discover either the beginning or the end of His transcendental nature. It is that very eternal and imperishable Lord whom Mother Yaśodā lovingly nurses upon her lap. [2]

Lord Śiva and the Sanakādi sages were unable to find Him despite searching for Him everywhere, yet that Supreme Lord, completely bound by the love of the gopīs of Braja, has performed the Rāsa dance with them. [3]

Śrī Charaṇadāsa says that by the glory and grace of his guru, Śrī Śukadeva Jī, he has realized this secret—that the Supreme Lord has arrived at the home of Nanda Bābā solely because of the loving devotion of devotees. [4]
