Acoording to Mahatmya in Padma Purana
As soon as Shri Krishna left the earth, Kali began to spread its shadow. After 260 years of Kali, When Narada saw Bhakti Maharani with her sons Gyan and Vairagya in a dilapidated state, he recited the Vedas, Gita to them, but even after this, he could not overcome the unconscious state of Gyan and Vairagya. Narada Ji decided that "I will meditate here", so there is Tapovan (place of meditation) here. When Narad decided to meditate, he saw
Tawaddarsha Puratah Sankadinmunishwaraan. Kotisuryasamabhasanuwach munisattamah.
In front of the Gandhamadan mountain, Narad got darshan of Sanakadik sages and the interaction between Narad Ji and Sanakadik has happened here. Here, the glory of Shrimad Bhagwat has been revealed through Sanakadik. This conversation is mentioned in Bhagwat Mahatmya of the 2nd chapter of Padma Purana.
According to Garga Samhita
Once Shri Krishna played flute in such a way that it had an impact on the whole universe. The sound of the flute ripped off the universe and went to Vaikuntha.

'Murali Dhuni Vaikuntha Gayi' is the original mantra of Adibadri. The adorable deity here is Shri Radha Madhav. The deity of Shri Lakshmi Narayan in Badrinath Ji temple are not adorable, they have come here to serve the divine couple Shri Shyamashyam.
"Murali Dhuni Vaikunth Gayi.
Narayana Kamla Suni Mohe Ati Ruchi Hriday Bhayi."
Lord of the Vaikuntha said to Lakshmi Ji, "O Goddess! Listen to the sweet sound of the flute, see, Lord Kunj Vihari and Shri Radha are performing the divine Raas dance."
"Shri Kunjbihari Viharat Dekhi, Jeevan Janam Safal Kari Lekhi."
This Nectar is not here in Vaikuntha, it is only in the kingdom of Vrindavan. Let's go there.
"Ehi Sukh Tihun Pur Hai Kahaan"
This Nectar is neither in the upward regions nor in the Maya's realms. There is nowhere in the whole universe.
"Shri Vrindavan Hamte Dur"
This Nectar can only be found in the dust of Braj. Therefore, even Lakshmi Ji longs for the dust of Braj.
"Tatra Devsaroramyam Badrinathhena Nirmitam"
Lord Badrinath himself created Dev Sarovar for the divine couple Shri Shyamashyam. "Shri Radha Krishna had disappeared in the Khoh and leaving the Gopis came here on the Rohitachal mountain. Hence the place got the name Kho Gram. It is 3 yojans (around 8-12 km) away from Govardhan. This Rohitachal mountain was decorated by Lord Laxmi Narayan for Shri Radha Krishna. There were beautiful Kunjas. There were golden vines, 'Kanchini' considered the golden color of Radharani, hence it is called Kanakachal mountain. The golden light was emanating from it. There were many beautiful fishes, turtles, and other aquatics in that Dev Sarovar.

(Garg Samhita. 20/60)
There were lotuses in it with thousands of petals. Innumerable bumblebees were buzzing all around. Twelve months the cuckoos sing there, the lake was filled with lotus fragrance. A sweet breeze was blowing on its shore.

(Garg Samhita. 20/60)
Radha Madhav sat on the banks of the lake. The lake was more beautiful than Vaikunth. After all, Badrinath Ji made it for Shri Radha Krishna.
