When Shri Hanuman Ji got this information, at that time he was in Braj carrying the Govardhan mountain, so he placed the Govardhan mountain in Braj itself. On this Govardhan mountain asked Shri Hanuman Ji that now how will I have darshan of Shri Hari? Hearing this question, Shri Hanuman Ji meditated on Shri Ram Ji sitting at this place. In meditation, the solution of the question was received from Shri Ram Ji, which Shri Hanuman Ji narrated to Govardhan mountain that "Lord Shri Hari will incarnate in this Braj Dham in Dwapar Yuga and will perform many pastimes with you." Hearing this answer, the restless heart of Govardhan mountain attained Shanti (peace). That is why this place is called Shanti Peeth.
