Samadhi of Taj Bibi, Gokul Mahavan

Taj Bibi was an ardent devotee of Shri Krishn. She was born in the 17th century. Taj Bibi's father's name was Padma Khan. Taj Bibi was married to Emperor Akbar. Due to the association of Gusain Shri Vitthalnath Ji, love for Shri Krishn appeared in the heart of Taj Bibi and she started living in Vrindavan. One day Shri Govind dev Ji gave her a glimpse of Him and gave her the plate of the offerings, due to which the fame of Taj Bibi started increasing and people started coming to see her. Seeing the interruption in the worship of the Lord, Taj Bibi crossed the Yamuna and went to Gokul and lived there for the rest of her life. She left her body in Gokul Mahavan and attained Shri Radha Krishn's pastimes in the form of a Gopi. This is where Taj Bibi's samadhi is located.

The samadhi of Taj Bibi is located in Mahavan, Gokul, around 500 meters from Shri Raman Bihari Temple and very near to Shri Raskhan's Samadhi.
