Nandgaun

In Nandgaon there is the Royal Palace of Shri Nand Ji. Srinandaraya, Upanand, Abhinand, Sunand, and Nand have resided here, so this Nandgaon is a pleasant place. The circumambulation of Nandgaon is of 6 km. There are 56 ponds related to the divine pastimes of Shri Krishn, whose darshan takes 3-4 days. Lord Shiva pleased his worshipful lord Shri Krishn and had asked for this boon that I want to see your childhood pastimes. Lord Shri Krishn himself ordered Lord Shiva to reside in Nandgaon in the form of a mountain. Lord Shiva, being situated in the form of Nandishwar mountain in Nandgaon, waited for the arrival of his worshipful Lord. Earlier, the ancestors of Shri Nand Ji were the residents of Nandgaon. For some reason, they settled in Gokul. At the time of Shri Krishn's appearance, they were in Gokul itself. Later Shri Nand Ji went to Shri Nandishvara with his dear son Krishn, cowherd fellows, and his cows to protect them from the evils of demons in Gokul. Here Shri Krishn and Balram performed many pastimes and fulfilled the desire of Lord Shiva.
