Raag Bahar is a joyful raga in North Indian classical music, typically sung in the spring season and filled with the emotion of love (Shringār Rasa). Its thaat is Kalyan, the main note (vadi) is Madhyam, and the second most important note (samvadi) is Shadja. Its jati is audav-sampurna (5 notes in ascent, 7 in descent). It is sung in the second quarter of the night (9 PM to 12 AM) and shows the influence of Raag Basant and Malhar.
