Advaita Vata, Vrindavan
Advaita Acharya intimate associates of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu stays here and served Shri Madan Mohan Temple under the Banyan tree at this place for several days. Later, that same Madana-Gopala made His way to Sanatan Goswami, who had a large temple constructed just nearby and established the deity there. Since then, Shri Madana-Gopala became known as Shri Madana-Mohana (stairs goes to Madan Mohan temple near to Advaita Vata). Under the tree at Advaita Vata, Shri Advaitacharya served the deity of Madan-Gopal with great love and devotion. Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu also resided here for some time during His visit to Vrindavan. There is a monument erected at this place in remembrance of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s stay at Advaita Vata and temple is also located.
