Those whose hearts are deeply enchanted by gopī-prema are unable to relish this Vihāra-rasa [the divine love-play of the Couple], for that particular bhāva has become an obstacle on their path. They merely hear and speak about this nectar of vihāra-rasa in vain. Despite their efforts, they do not attain the supreme abode.
