O tongue, constantly sing the divine glories of Śrī Girirāja Govardhana. O mind, meditate upon His glorious form. O eyes, continually drink the nectar of His incomparable beauty. And O body, lovingly roll in the sacred dust of the paths of Śrī Govardhana.
One who, having attained a human birth, develops love for Śrī Girirāja Govardhana, the most beloved of Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa, accomplishes all auspicious deeds in this world; indeed, the birth of such a person alone is truly fulfilled.
May I reside in the very Govardhan where Shri Krishna, the son of Nand, held His flute in His lotus hands and played its sweet melody, captivating the hearts of the beautiful cowherd maidens, overwhelmed with ecstatic waves of divine love.
Some find their devotion in worshiping Girija Devi (Parvati), others bow to Lord Shiva. Some serve Surya Bhagwan (the Sun God), while others revere Lord Ganesha, Indra, or Shankar Ji. Let each follow their chosen deity; as for me, my heart and faith rest solely in the refuge of Shri Govardhan Ji.
O King of Mountains, Shri Govardhan! Although I am devoid of all means, extremely destitute, and lacking in wisdom, nonetheless, it is not appropriate for you to abandon me, for you offer shelter to those who surrender themselves unto you.
Those aspiring to dwell in the realms of Vishnu or Shiva through their intellects may do so in a virtuous manner. However, I wish that in future lifetimes, should the need arise to take birth, even in the form of an insect or a similar form, it be in the region of Shri Govardhan.
Through numerous cycles of birth, enduring various sufferings, and making various efforts, I have now obtained this rare human birth. Yet, alas, even till today, unfortunately, I have not been blessed to reside near Giriraj Govardhan's sacred land.
If I have selflessly served the Guru/saints with pure intentions, may I reside in a place near the sacred Shri Giriraj Govardhan.
All glories to Shri Govardhan Raj, the King of mountains, which is the eternal abode of Lord Sri Krishna, and the treasury of all His playful pastimes.
I humbly offer my obeisance to the lotus feet of Govardhan. I meditate upon the glorious form of Govardhan and chant the profoundly auspicious name of "Govardhan". I do not know any other entity or deity besides Shri Giriraj Govardhan.
Millions of eyes needed to do the enchanting darshan of Govardhan, millions of ears to hear its virtues, millions of tongues to sing its nectarine glories, and millions of feet required to do its parikrama [circumambulation].
During morning time, on the top of Shri Giriraj Goverdhan, Where Shri Krishn are smiling gently with His left arm around the shoulder of Shri Radha, and looking at the red colour of the east, again smiling, such Shri Giriraj Ji is my worshipful deity.
