The name “Radha” consists of two syllables: “Ra,” meaning “to give,” and “Dha,” meaning “to receive.” Shri Radha, the fair one, constantly bestows all joy, while Shri Krishna, the dark one, receives it. For this reason, Rasikas regard the name “Radha” as a Yugal name, representing both Shri Radha and Shri Krishna together.
The divine couple, one fair and the other dark, embodies an endless ocean where the waves of intimate love-play (Keli Rasa) perpetually surge. Rasik saints have sung its glory in the past, are singing it now, and will continue in the future.
One should have such a deep inner sentiment, perceiving the visible Vrindavan Dham as the personal palace of Shri Shyama Shyam. Within this divine palace, all individuals, irrespective of gender, are devoted maid servants, engaged in ceaseless service to the divine couple.
Beloved Shri Radha is the Guru [master] of Shri Krishna who always grants Him divine love-bliss.
In “Ra” resides, the fair-complexioned Radhika, and In “Dha” resides the dark-complexioned Ghanshyam [Krishn]. One who chants "Radha" name is blessed with the love of the divine couple effortlessly.
