In his journey days, wherever Shankaracharya was going to take a seat, before this, his followers were digging that much part of the land and smear it and water it so as to make the soil pious. But when he moved towards Vrindavan, then the spiritual master denied them for the digging of land. The disciples suspected that what happened to the master?
Immediately he seated on the land and lied down in the soil of Braj (Braj Raj) and told now there's no need to spray water.
Disciples asking that, oh lord what happened to you. He replied with a very beautiful "Govindastakam".
“गोष्टप्रांगण रिंगनलोलं मनअनायासं परमयसम,
वृंदावनभुिव वृंदारकगणवृदारायं वंदेह || ”

This is not ordinary soil. This is the soil of Vrindavan, to which celestial gods even long for.
