Vilas Garh is situated above the sankri khor( the so-called narrow sacred way) in Barsana. From the name 'Vilas' it's understood that the pastime of divine luxuriance has been performed here. According to 'Brahma Vaivarta puran' (Scripture), here Shriji (Radha) was impersonated as King with a royal umbrella overhead.
Lalita Ji impersonated as a minister and Visakha Ji as a fan bearer. A thief was arrested and brought to the court of King and Shreeji (Radha) freed him by giving mercy upon him. Some become as a receptionist, some as a messenger, some as a singer and some as a watchman and so on. And all are absorbed in the service of the emperor (Radha as emperor). All Glories to Shriji Maharaj.
