Once Lalita Sakhi offered a bowl of milk in the hand of Shyamsundar because she knew if she offers it to Radharani then Radharani will give it to Shyam sunder, to drink first. That's why she offered it to Shyamsundar first so that he will offer first to Radharani to drink. Shyamsundar smiled thinking that Lalita Ji is very clever.
Shyamsunder puts that bowl on the lips of Radharani and Shree Radharani was avoiding and saying "No you drink it first, Lalita gave it you first", but Shyamsunder keeps insisted her that "No you have to drink it first then I will drink it". Radharani drank it and then Shyamsundar took it as Radha Rani's prasad and then he drank it. This pastime was performed in this place so it is known as Paigaon- Pai means milk, Gaon means Village. Hence the place is known as Paigaon.
