Gunjana Vana, Braj - Divine Pastimes

Gunjan Van is very near to Bhusanavana. The word ‘bhushana’ means ‘ornaments’. Gunjan van is a place where Radharani and the gopis decorated Krishna with ornaments and garlands made from gunja flowers (Gunjan berries). Krishna then decorated Radharani with similar ornaments and garlands made from gunja flowers. It is said that gunja-beads are very dear to Radharani.
