anandambudhi-vardhanam prati-padam purnamritaswadanam
sarvatma-snapanam param vijayate sri-krishna-sankirtanam
Glory to the Śrī Kṛṣṇa Saṅkīrtana, which cleanses the mirror of the heart and extinguishes the blazing forest fire of material existence. It spreads the cooling moonlight that causes the white lotus of supreme good fortune to bloom, is the very life of the bride of transcendental knowledge, expands the ocean of divine bliss, enables one to taste complete nectar at every step, and bathes the entire self in spiritual purity.

namnam akari bahudha nija-sarva-shaktis
tatrarpita niyamitah smarane na kalah
etadrishi tava kripa bhagavan mamapi
durdaivam idrisham ihajani nanuragaha
O my Lord! You have manifested innumerable holy names and invested all Your divine potencies within them. You have not imposed any restrictions regarding the time for remembering or chanting these names. Such is Your causeless mercy. Yet my misfortune is so great that I have no attraction for them.
(3)
trinad api sunichena
taror api sahishnuna
amanina manadena
kirtaniyah sada harih
One should chant the holy name of the Lord in a humble state of mind, considering oneself lower than a blade of grass, being more tolerant than a tree, expecting no honor for oneself while offering respect to all others. In such a state of mind one can constantly chant the holy name of the Lord.
(4)
na dhanam na janam na sundarim
kavitam va jagad-isha kamaye
mama janmani janmanishvare
bhavatad bhaktir ahaituki twayi
O Lord of the universe! I do not desire wealth, followers, beautiful women, or poetic excellence. My only prayer is that I may have causeless devotion unto You, birth after birth.
(5)
ayi nanda-tanuja kinkaram
patitam mam vishame bhavambudhau
kripaya tava pada-pankaja-
sthita-dhuli-sadrisham vichintaya
O son of Nanda Mahārāja! I am Your eternal servant, yet somehow I have fallen into the terrible ocean of material existence. Please be merciful and pick me up, considering me as a particle of dust at Your lotus feet.
(6)
nayanam galad-ashru-dharaya
vadanam gadgada-ruddhaya gira
pulakair nichitam vapuh kada
tava nama-grahane bhavishyati
O my Lord, when will my eyes be decorated with tears of love flowing constantly when I chant Your holy name? When will my voice choke up, and when will the hairs on my body stand erect in transcendental happiness as I chant Your holy name?
(7)
yugayitam nimeshena
chakshusha pravrishayitam
shunyayitam jagat sarvam
govinda-virahena me
O Govinda! In Your separation, even a single moment appears like an age. Tears pour from my eyes like torrents of rain, and the entire world appears void in Your absence.
(8)
ashlishya va pada-ratam pinashtu mam
adarshanan marma-hatam karotu va
yatha tatha va vidadhatu lampato
mat-prana-nathas tu sa eva naparah
Whether Śrī Kṛṣṇa lovingly draws me into His embrace or crushes me beneath His feet; whether He blesses me with His darśana and fulfills my life, or ignores me and leaves my soul tormented in separation — whatever He may do, that playful Lord alone is the Master of my life. Apart from Him, I have no other refuge, nor do I desire any other.
