While describing the glory of Vṛndāvana or its residents, the exclusive rasika Śrī Harirāma Vyāsa Jī says that if even sweets are received from a ritualistic scholar (vipra) or a Brāhmaṇa who is averse to Vṛndāvana, they should be rejected. Conversely, if one can obtain even the remnants (jūṭhana) of an outcaste (caṇḍāla) of Śrī Vṛndāvana Dhāma, begging for and accepting them is supremely auspicious.
