In this verse, Swami Shri Haridas Ji, overflowing with devotion for his followers, lovingly says, “O my dear devotees! While worldly people may forget their exclusive devotion to Shri Bihari Ji, you have already become mine. How can you forget Him too?” [1]

In this verse, Swami Shri Haridas Ji, overflowing with devotion for his followers, lovingly says, “O my dear devotees! While worldly people may forget their exclusive devotion to Shri Bihari Ji, you have already become mine. How can you forget Him too?” [1]
He stresses that under no circumstances should one forget Shri Bihari Ji. Just as a wife who abandons her husband to seek love from another man is deemed unfaithful and disgraced, so too, if one seeks refuge elsewhere instead of Shri Bihari Ji, they will meet a similar fate. [2]
Shri Krishna Himself declares that those who seek shelter in Him but turn to others for fulfillment become separated from Him. Once you have taken refuge in Shri Bihari Ji, there is no need to follow any other religious customs or practices. [3]
In conclusion, Swami Haridas Ji Maharaj emphasizes that once a devotee surrenders to the ocean of compassion that is Shri Bihari Ji Maharaj, there is no need for performing sacrifices, worshipping other deities, repaying ancestors, or engaging in any other rituals. Simply remaining immersed in Shri Bihari Ji’s love is all that is needed. [4]
