- Shri Hati Ji, Radha Sudha Shatak (7)

Some have a desire for material wealth and kingdom, some have a desire for their own fame, while others desire the pleasures of heaven and wish to relish like King Indra, even though they have obtained it millions of times, yet their desires have not vanished. [1]

Some have the desire to become a ruler, king, or the crown of the whole universe; hence, they visit various pilgrimages, perform various fasts, and many kinds of rigorous spiritual practices for the fulfillment of their desires. [2]

Śrī Hātījī says that the mind should be such that it naturally discards all worthless material objects and becomes exclusively and perfectly attached to the form of Śrī Rādhā. [3]

The only yearning desire inside my heart now is for the merciful side‑long glance of Śrī Rādhā, the lovely daughter of Kīrti, who is the protector of all and the very life of Lord Kṛṣṇa Himself. [4]
