Śrī Harirāma Vyāsa Jī advises that one should not love that person who is concerned only with His own pain and selfish interests. Instead, one should direct love toward that compassionate Lord or toward the saints, who remove the suffering of others. Even while enduring hardships themselves, they alleviate the fears and afflictions of those around them.
