Batao Radhe! Jaum Kake Dwara?
Sadhana Hina Dina Apanavata, Aiso Kauna Udara? [1]
Nara Kinnara Sura Adi Apu Him, Tapata Tritapa Majhara.
Vidhi Hari Hara Durgadika Jetika, Sabaki Tuma Adhara. [2]
Kahaum Rasika Rasa Riti Kshamiya Ika, Sune Haim Nandakumara.
Tinake Kapata Jala Som Darapata, Thagi Sabai Brajanara. [3]
Tumharoi Jani Unahim Saba Manata, Guna Avagunahim Bisara.
Kamkha Ju Chhora Lakhi ‘kripalu’ Kimi, Gama Dhindhora Mara. [4]
- Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, Prem Ras Madira, Dainya Madhuri (92)
Oh Radhe! Tell me Yourself that to whose door this humble beggar should go to, leaving You? Apart from You, who is so merciful as to accept the humble and make them their own without their exercising any means at all? [1]
So far as human beings, kinnaras and all heavenly gods are concerned, they themselves are burning in the three temperatures – daihika (intrinsic), daivika (superhuman) and bhautika (extrinsic). Brahma, Vishnu, Shankara and Durga etc. – all who are considered to be the great divine powers, take refuge in Your lotus-feet alone, thinking themselves to be imperfect. [2]
Kishori JI! Please forgive me as I am going to say something in accordance with the humorous style of rasiks. I have heard that there is one more absolutely perfect personality, who is the essence of bliss, His name is Nandanandana [Krishn]. But His deceitful and cruel behavior generates fear in my heart. Maidens of Braj are an example of His cruelty. [3]
Those who trust Him do not think over His vices and virtues, knowing Him to be Your dearest. The inference is, He may be equal to You, but I am afraid of Him. Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji humorously adds, "Who will go announcing for his baby with a drumbeat in the whole village after seeing it in his own arms? (That is, after knowing Shyamasundara's nature, cruel and deceitful so well, who will think of loving Him?)" [4]
