Aaj Van Umagi Rahi Vrijnari,
Phuli Phirat Nishank Gun Gavat, Jhulat Pran Piyari. [1]
Ek Kusum Lai Darat upar, Ek Chitnat Rahi Thado,
Ek Jo Aay Dhay Mohan Par, Ank Bharat Hai Gadhi. [2]
Nil Pit Ang-Ang Virajat, Aur Shringar Singare.
‘Sur’ Sang Vilsat Hai Bhamini, Nekahu Hot Na Nyarai . [3]
- Shri Surdas, Sur sagar
Today Braj damsels are delighted in the forest! They are blooming and singing the glories of their beloveds in a very cheerful mood whilst Shri Radha, who is dearer than their life, is relishing swinging. [1]
One girl is doing the service of flowers and puts them on Shri Radha's head. One just stands still before them, gazing at them unblinkingly. One runs up to the Enchanter Krishna and embraces Him tightly. [2]
Their gorgeous blue and yellow garments decorate Their limbs and They are wearing many types of elegant adornments. Shri Surdas says, "The rapturous Lady [Radha] plays with venturous Krishna and They are never ever separate from each other, even for a single moment." [3]
