Sakuchat Kehat Kahavat Dasi - Shri Bhori Sakhi, Prem Ki Peer (49)

Sakuchat Kehat Kahavat Dasi,
Kahn Main Adham Neech Ati Pamar, Kahn Tum Naval Nikunj Nivasi. [1]
Nij Karan Dekhaun Jag Mahi, Nit Sab Karat Ravari Hansi.
Yahi Soch Jarat Nij Chati, Vyapi Rahat Hriday Chinta Si. [2]
Bhushan Bhar Asan Vish Lagat, Sukhad Sej Janu Jarat Chita Si.
‘Bhori’ Dukh Sab Harahu Kripanidhi, Kari Pad Kanj Anany Upasi. [3]

- Shri Bhori Sakhi, Prem Ki Peer (49)

O Shri Radhe! I feel extremely hesitant to call myself your servitor or to be called by others as your servitor, because on the one hand, you dwell eternally in the ever-new Nibhrit Nikunj palace of Vrindavan and whereas I am a very sinful, eternally crook and wicked. [1]

I have been wandering in the world engaging my mind in the fulfillment of worldly desires, But, everybody is laughing at you, taunting me [because they think I belong to You now]. I am burning myself so badly in the fire of this thought and my heart is always worried. [2]

Wearing clothes and ornaments feels like a burden on me, food looks like poison, and a pleasant bed looks like a burning pyre. Shri Hita Bhori Sakhi prays to Shri Radha, “O, the most compassionate Swamini! Please relieve me from all the troubles coming in the path of reaching to You and make me an exclusive devotee of your Lotus feet anyhow”. [3]
