(Doha)
Keerata Kunshi Kumodani, Sakai Basa Ko Jana.
Sribhata Bhanukumari Kau, Rasabardhan Yaha Mana.
(Pad) [Eiktal, Rag Kedarau]
Rasa Bardhan Yaha Maan Kunwari Kau.
Keerata Kunshi Kumodani Jaki, Sakai Basa Ko Jani Kunwara Kau. [1]
Madhur Bastu Jyaun Khaat Nirantara, Hota Maha Sushdani Kunwari Kau.
Beech Beech Katukadik Jai Sribhatt, Ati Ruchidayaka Bhanu Kunvari Kau. [2]
- Shri Bhatt Devacharya, Yugal Shatak (25)
(Doha)
Who can understand the mystery of Shri Kirti’s daughter Shri Radha’s maan [sulk] with Shyamsundara? Shri Bhatt Devacharya says that Her ‘mana’ [sulk] with Krishn, increases the nectar.
(Pada)
Who knows the secret of this maan [sulk] leelas of nectar [which enhances the Rasa] of Shri Radha who is like a fully bloomed lotus flower emerged from the womb of Mother Kirti? These Mana-leelas performed by Her also increase the rasa [bliss]. [1]
When One continuously eats the sweet things, One relishes them, but the importance of that pleasure can only be understood when One tastes the bitter things too. Shri Bhata Devacharya says, if one tastes bitter things in between, the taste of sweet things becomes even more, in the same way, Shri Radhika also increases the nectar by performing Maan Leelas [sulk leelas with Lord Krishn] in between so that the supreme bliss becomes ever-increasing and its importance is maintained as well. Therefore, These maana leelas are loved by Rasiks as well. [2]
