Nath Mohin Ab Ki Ber Ubaro - Shri Surdas, Sur Sagar

Nath Mohin Ab Ki Ber Ubaro.
Karmahin Janam Ko Andho, Mo Ten Kaun Nakaro. [1]
Teen Lok Ke Tum Pratipalak, Main To Das Tiharo.
Tari Jati Kujati Prabhu Ji, Mo Par Kirapa Dharo. [2]
Patitan Mein Ik Nayak Kahie, Neechan Mein Saradaro.
Koti Papi Ik Pasang Mere, Ajamil Kaun Bicharo. [3]
Natho Dharam Nam Suni Mero, Narak Kiyo Hath Taro.
Moko Thaur Nahin Ab Kuo, Apano Birad Samaharo. [4]
Chhudr Patit Tum Tare Ramapati, Ab Na Karo Jiy Garo.
Surdas Sacho Tab Mane, Jo Hvai Mam Nistaro. [5]

- Shri Surdas, Soorsagar

O Lord, please deliver me this time. I am a sinner, blind since birth; who could ever be more worthless than me? [1]

You are the sustainer of the three worlds and I am your servant. You have redeemed all regardless of whether they are lowly or high-born. Please shower your grace on me as well. [2]

I am head of wretched sinners and chief among the fallen souls. Millions of sinners are nothing compared to me, Ajamil, the sinner, pales in comparison. [3]

At the very mention of my name, dharma flees; even hell adamantly refuses to accept me.  I have no other place to go. I beseech you to uphold your intrinsic nature [i.e causelessly merciful, purifier of sinners, etc ]. [4]

O Lord, you have delivered the lowliest and the fallen - do not ruin your reputation now. Surdas will truly believe in your greatness only if you take him across the ocean of existence. [5]
