The leelas [love-games] of the forest are very appealing to Lal [Shri Krishn], that is why He sees Shri Priyaji’s [Radha] reflection, from head to toe, in the leaves and flowers of the forest. [1]
Even after seeing the reflection of Shri Priya Ji on those leaves and flowers, He couldn’t embrace them, due to hesitation, so, He assumes the form of a greedy bee, and runs for the embracement.
But Shri Radha, the beautiful lady, again throws Him into illusion by calling out playfully and continuously excites havoc in the battle of love. [2]
Shri Harivansh Mahaprabhu says, Today Shri Shyamsundar’s [Krishn] eyes are deceiving Him a lot in recognizing the form of Shri Priya Ji as everything is turned contrarywise, So He applies a line of collyrium in His eyes. Enslaved by Shri Priya Ji’s love, He is now called ‘Sajani Shyam’ [Sakhi Shyam]. [3]
