- Shri Raskhan, Raskhan Ratnavali

O friend! Today Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the enchanting dark-complexioned son of Nanda, performed the divine Rāsa dance on the Yamunā's banks near the sacred Vaṃśīvaṭa. [1]

He showered boundless bliss through His glances, expressions, and sweet words, leaving no captivating emotion untouched. [2]

At first, Braj's damsels tried to uphold their social decorum, but they soon had to abandon that restraint. [3]

Śrī Rasakhāna says, "Later they surrendered completely to the ocean of Bliss, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, and their exclusive devotion united them solely with Him." [4]
