- Braj Ke Kavitt
Once Lord Śiva came to Vṛndāvan to have darśana of Mahārāsa, but Lalitā Sakhī, who was standing at the gate, stopped Him and told Lord Śiva to take initiation first and then enter into Mahārāsa. [1]
Lalitā Sakhī said to Śiva, “Without attaining the form of a Sakhī, it is not possible to enter into the intimate pastimes,” to which Lord Śiva said, “Please give me initiation”. [2]
Śrī Lalitā Sakhī [Haridāsī Sakhī] gave the Mahāmantra to Śiva and said that “O Śiva, you are the master of all the masters, but today you must become a disciple”. [3]
Śrī Lalitā Sakhī said to Śiva, “Drink now the sweetest nectar of Keli Vihāra [pure conjugal divine love‑play] of Śrī Śyāmashyāma after renouncing the nectar of Brahmananda [bliss of the formless Absolute]”. [4]
