Aiso Chatak Matak So Thakur Tinon Lokan Hun Mein Nay. [1]
Teen Thaur Te Tedho Dikhai, Nat Ki Si Chalagat Ai Sikhe.
Tedhe Nainn Chalave Tikhe.
Sab Devan Ko Dev, Tau Ye Braj Mein Ghere Gay. Aiso…. [2]
Brahma Moh Kiyo Pachhatao, Maan Indra Ko Dur Bhagayo.
Darshan Ko Shiv Braj Mein Ayo.
Aiso Vaibhav Varo Tau Pain Braj Mein Gari Khay. Aiso…. [3]
Bad Bade Asuran Ko Marau. Naag Kaliya Pakar Pachharau.
Sat Dina Tak Giravar Dharau.
Aiso Bali Tau Gvalin Te Khelat Mein Pit Jay. Aiso…. [4]
Rup Chhabilo Hai Braj Sundar. Bina Bulaye Dole Ghar Ghar.
‘Premi’ Braj Gopin Ko Chakar.
Aisa Prem Bandhyo Makhan Ko Chori Karave Jay. Aiso…. [5]
- Shri Premi Ji (Braj Ke Lok geet)
Such a Thakur of Braj [Banke Bihari], who is bedecked from top to bottom, whose gait is so lavishly alluring, is nowhere found in the three worlds. [1]
His triple-curved posture [i.e. His neck, waist, and feet are slanted] looks beautiful, and He knows all the attributes of an acrobat. He attacks everyone with the arrow of His loving side-glances. He is the supreme among all the Gods, and He grazes cow here in the Braj. [2]
Even Lord Brahma’s mind was bewildered by seeing His leelas and later Brahma repented for His actions. Lord Indra’s false pride was destroyed by Him. Lord Shiva came to Braj for His Darshan. Such a Thakur who has such splendor enjoys the abuses of the maidens of Braj. [3]
He killed dreaded demons. He nailed Kaliya Nag in a moment. He lifted Giriraj mountain for seven consecutive days. Such a powerful God gets beaten by His cowherd friends for Their pleasure! [4]
His form is extremely pleasant. He roams in everyone’s house [of Brajwasis] without even Their invitation. Shri Premji says, “He is the servant of the maidens of Braj and bound in such a rope of Their love that He steals the butter from Their houses due to predominance of His love towards them”. [5]
