(Sawaiya)
Jayati Lalitadi Deviy Vraj Shrutiricha,
Krishn Priy Keli Aadhir Angi. [1]
Jugal-ras-matt Aanandamay Rupanidhi,
Sakal Sukh Samayaki Chhanh Sangi. [2]
Gaurmukh Himakaranaki Ju Kiranavali,
Sravat Madhu Gaan Hiy Piy Tarangi. [3]
‘Nagari’ Sakal Sanket Aakarini,
Ganat Gunaganani Mati Hoti Pangi. [4]
- Shri Nagari Sakhi
Glory to Lālita and the other sakhīs, who embody the Veda-like, supremely sweet līlās of Vraja and are the intimate companions in the amorous pastimes of Śrī Rādhā–Kṛṣṇa. [1]
Those sakhīs are intoxicated with yugala-rasa, filled with bliss, and are treasuries of beauty, ever remaining close companions within the shade of all happiness. [2]
Their fair, radiant faces shine like a garland of moonbeams, and by pouring forth the rasa of sweet songs, they awaken waves of love in the hearts of the beloved couple. [3]
Śrī “Nāgarī” sakhī says—these sakhīs are the creators of every subtle signal; in trying to count their virtues, my intellect itself seems to grow lame. [4]
