Vyas Jagat Mein Rasik Jan, Jaisein Drum Par Chand.
Satchit Aru Anandmay, Bhed Na Janat Mand.
- Shri Hariram Vyas, Vyas Vani, Siddhant Ki Saakhi (142)
Śrī Harirāma Vyāsa Jī says that rasika saints are similar to the moon that spreads its soothing rays above the trees. The moon is not actually situated upon the branches; it is very far. Similarly, the rasikas are embodiments of eternal existence, consciousness, and bliss (sat-cit-ānanda). Yet those of dull understanding fail to comprehend this transcendental mystery and mistake them to be ordinary people like themselves.
