In this pad, Śrī Rādhikā is in the mode of annoyance, and Śrī Nandadās Jī is convincing Her to meet Śrī Kṛṣṇa. He says:

O Śrī Rādhikā, it is due to Your raised eyebrows that Śrī Lāl Jī [Śrī Kṛṣṇa] became ‘Tribhaṅgī’ [tilted from neck, waist, and feet]; He is called ‘Śyām’ [dark] because of the touch of Your collyrium. [1]

O Rādhe, seeing your smile, a spark of lightning flashes in Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s heart, and being humbled, He utters your name, swept away in the ecstasy of divine love by just saying half of your name, i.e., “Rā.” [2]

Śyāmsundar [Kṛṣṇa] is fully under your control. He always dances to your gestures; now please have mercy on Him [Śrī Kṛṣṇa] and come to Nikunj soon. [3]

Śrī Nandadās Jī says, “Shall I call Him? Every moment passes for you, yet even one moment without you feels like an era for Him.” [4]
