O Shriji [Radha], now please have some mercy upon me. I have been wandering in this material world from uncountable lifetimes and never came to the shelter of Your lotus feet. [1]
You have provided me your shelter considering me as totally helpless and have converted such an unworthy soul like me to be worthy.
You are the ocean of compassion, causelessly merciful, but why are you not fulfilling your nature with me now and afraid of my sins? [2]
Where should I go, everyone is asking my name and where have I come from. But I am ashamed because when I introduce myself, then the name itself is ashamed. [3]
Everyone laughs at me hearing my name which is ‘Peetambar Das’ [servant of Lord Hari]. Shri Peetambar Dev says, “I belong to Swami Shri Haridas, the crest jewel among the Rasiks, then why should I suffer?” [4]
