Just as a foolish lotus mistakes the moon's reflection in the water to be the actual moon, similarly, rasika saints appear outwardly ordinary in this world, although they eternally reside in the intimate presence of Śrī Priyā-Lāla. The ignorant, however, mistake them to be ordinary people like themselves.
