The gopīs say: “O Madhukara (Uddhava), be silent — who here would engage in the worship of your path of yoga, centered upon the formless Absolute in Braj, the abode of love? Those hearts that have already been bound to the hem of Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s yellow garment — who could ever detach them and direct them elsewhere?”
