Ab Hin Bani Hai Baat, Ausar Samajhi Ghat,
Tau Na Khisat, Baar Sauk Samajhayo Hai. [1]
Aju Kaalhi Jaihain Mari, Kal-Vyal Hun Te Dari,
Bhaunde Bhajan Hi Kari Kaiso Sang Payo Hai. [2]

Śrī Saras Dev Jī says to the aspirants (or His mind):
You have attained the golden opportunity today which is rarely achieved. Why are you not ashamed of yourself that this golden opportunity (of the attainment of the human form) is slipping away from your hands, even though you have understood its importance thoroughly? [1]
You may die any moment; the snake of death is following you, be afraid of it. Take a vow of performing bhajan; understand the importance of the association that you have received. [2]
Think about this rare nectar of devotion, devote your wealth and mind to it. This is the only way to escape from the world; our masters have sung this in their nectarine Vāṇīs [writings]. [3]
Therefore, surrender yourself unto the lotus feet of God/Rasik Guru who will provide you eternal freedom from all kinds of fears and bestow happiness.
God has given you this golden opportunity (of the human form) only to destroy the unbreakable shackles of Māyā. [4]
