When Śrī Priyā-Priyatama returns through the groves of Vṛndāvana, rain begins to fall. As Śrī Rādhā's beautiful veil becomes drenched, Śrī Lālajī (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) draws Her ever closer to His heart.

As the drops of rain continue to fall upon Śrī Priyājī's colourful veil, Śrī Lālajī, under the pretext of shielding Her from the rain, embraces Her to His heart. [1]
Seeing the torrential rainfall, They pause for a moment beneath a dense tree. Śrī Bhaṭṭajī says, "All glories to the crest-jewel of rasikas, Śrī Śyāmasundara, and to supremely rasa-filled Śrī Śyāmājī! Thus the Divine Couple lovingly unite and relish supreme bliss within Their hearts." [2]
