Piya Bin Suno Chhai Ji Mharo Des. [1]
Aiso Hai Koi Pivakun Milavai, Tan Man Karun Sab Pes.
Tere Karan Ban Ban Dolun, Kar Jogun Ko Bhes. [2]
Avadhi Baditi Ajahun Na Aaye, Pandar Ho Gaya Kes.

- Shri Mirabai

Without my beloved Lord, my whole world seems lonely. [1]

I will sacrifice my mind and body for the one who can grant me to meet my beloved Lord Shyamsundar. For His sake, I am traversing from one forest to another, embracing the appearance of a monk. [2]

Despite the passage of considerable time, my Lord has yet to grace me with His presence. The strands of hair on my head have turned gray in longing. Sri Mirabai says, “O Lord, When will you meet me, for I’ve renounced the town of my King’s realm only for your darshan”. [3]
