Sakhi, Haun Syam Rang Rangi - Shri Gadadhar Bhatt Ji, Shri Gadadhar Bhatt Ji Ki Vani (34)

Sakhi, Haun Syam Rang Rangi.
Dekhi Bikaai Gai Vah Moorti Soorti Mahin Pagi. [1]
Sang Hutau Apnau Sapnau-Sau Soi Rahi Ras Khoi.
Jagehu Aage Dristi Parai Sakhi Neku Na Nyarau Hoi. [2]
Ek Ju Meri Ankhiyan Mein Nisidyos Rahyau Kar Bhoun.
Gay Charavan Jaat Sunyau Sakhi! So Dhoun Kanhaiya Kaun [3].
Kasoun Kahaun Kaun Patiyabai, Kaun Karai Bakwaad.
Kaisen Ke Kahi Jaat 'Gadadhar' Goonge Kau Gurh Swaad. [4]

- Shri Gadadhar Bhatt Ji, Shri Gadadhar Bhatt Ji Ki Vani (34)

O Sakhi (friend), I am colored in the hue of Shyamsundar. I am sold to Him the moment I laid eyes on Him. The sheer beauty of His divine form has enraptured me beyond measure. [1]

Even in my dreams, I am consumed by His sublime essence, and I wish to remain asleep, immersed in that blissful rasa. Upon waking, wherever I cast my gaze, I see nothing but Shyamsundar, as if He is constantly by my side, never separated even for a moment. [2]

O Sakhi, I have heard that Kanhiya (Krishn) goes to tend to the grazing cows, then who is the one who constantly remains before my eyes day and night? [3]

To whom can I pour out the depths of my heart? Who will truly understand and believe me? With whom should I attempt to discuss these feelings in vain?
Shri Gadadhar Bhatt ji states that just as a person incapable of speech cannot explain the taste of jaggery to others, I find it impossible to convey the profound inner experiences of this divine nectar to anyone. [4]
